Dr KM Dinesan (MBBS) is a reputed doctor whose residence is in Illam Mukku in Maruthayi. He has been serving in government service for over 15 years and is currently working as RCH officer, Kannur District in DMO's office, Kannur.
Earlier he served as the Medical Officer of Government Hospital Mattanur.
His consultation time at home is from 7 to 8 in the morning and from 7:30 to 8:30 in the evening

Kallur Illam
After the Santhosh Madhavan and Himaval Maheswara Badrananda issues, Maruthayi is reeling with a new problem. The Kallur Illam situated here has been suspected for similar incidents because of frequent night-visits by luxurious cars and the image held by the owner of the property as 'Swamini'. The Illam had been in controversies because of blocking the way for people and occupation of a road. TV reporters of Manorama News and Kairali People cam to verify the allegations against the Illam only to be disappointed by a close door.

Maruthayi is a village near 4 km away from Mattanur town. It is characterized by the paddy fields and other greeneries that are found here as every other village are. But what is special about this village is that it is going to develop. Due to the proximity of the Kannur airport to the village the land prices have already risen.
